Gratitude Reveals Abundance

Feeling Recession Depression? Stuck in the Karmic Wheel of Paycheck to Paycheck Living? Wondering when the Rags to Riches story will rain down on you?  Then I'll let you in on a little secret.

Shhh...It's called Start Being Thankful for EVERYTHING Around You. It goes like this:

Thank you for the birds chirping good morning, for my cat bathing on the desk, and my dog making me take a daily walk. Sidewalks, indoor plumbing, and good hair days, you rock. There's a roof somewhere above me and a place to put my feet every morning.  I've tasted chocolate! Children laugh.
I have experienced love, laughter and red wine--sometimes all at once.  Oh, and there is that biggie one called: I can decide to be happy right now.

Your list will be different, but I sincerely hope that you have chocolate in there. Be sure to update your list every time you start dwelling on the money thing. That's the second part of the secret: replace yucky thoughts with thankful thoughts.

Okay, now here is the reason behind the gratitude thing:

Abundance already exists.  It's our illusionary thinking that keeps it covered.  When you are thankful, The Universe will give you more stuff to be thankful for. Pretty cool, huh?

Losing Your Mind Takes Thought

Yesterday my son and I ventured out to the sand dunes at a local beach. Before contemplating the beauty, we sword-fighted/tickled with pompass grass.  The long shoots break easily, so smacking them to smithereens was half the fun. Then we slid down the dunes, had seaweed throwing contests, and drew our dream house in the sand. We ended the day warming ourselves in a stick drawn jacuzzi in the sand.

Several times, I caught myself thinking about what I beautiful day it was. To think about how much fun we were having. To think about dinner that night. To think about preparing for a tsunami. To think about who would be a good President. To think, to think, to think.

And while thinking has it's place, this was a time for feeling.

For feeling love for my son, wintery sun, cold sand and stinky seaweed.  Without thought, my heart filled.

Think about your bills when paying them, your budget when shopping, your car while driving, and whatever needs your mind's attention when required.

But when it comes time to feel, let go of the mind.  Feel your emotions, your beauty, your joy and your sorrow.  Life will be more appealing.

Reiki Ritual

Reiki is at minimum relaxing, and at maximum shifting.   Your chakras are worked on to keep them open and balanced.  The practitioner will do a 'laying of hands', channeling higher energy.  Also, healing energy is sent to guide cells back to a healthy state.

Last treatment, I felt meridian channels freshly opened like warm I V fluid being pumped through my veins--not relaxing: uncomfortable. Eventually the feeling settled down and I (silently) greeted the visiting spirits and ancestors. They sent messages of support, things I could be doing to expedite my goals, and waves of higher energy vibration.  Some chakras were released of excess energy and empty ones filled.  In the end, I was energetically balanced, relaxed, and overflowing with love.

As inner knowledge increases, so will the depth of the awareness of what is happening. Years ago, when first touched by a Reiki master, I felt only peace. Over the years, I have received fantastic visions and been acutely aware of what is happening vibrationally to my body.

Energy tune-ups are a must. Reiki is a widely known option to keep your energetic body in alignment.
